TechDimension.com had some upgrades today. The upgrades shouldn't effect the way the site functions. These are the upgrades that were applied and the versions they were upgraded to:

• Job Posting 6.x-1.10
• Persistent Login 6.x-1.4-beta-4
• Signature Forum 6.x-1.0

These upgrades are released in order to provide security, stability, and feature updates. Each point release of Drupal features security, stability, and even speed improvements. Other modules can also include new features. Some, such as IP Anon, are installed on this site in order to protect the users. Then, there are some that just make it a little nicer for users of TechDimension.com. Each upgrade improves on the fundamental basis of the respective modules in what they do.

For those paying attention, yes, I did skip over upgrading to Drupal 6.5. This is because the time between Drupal's releases is entirely too short for my personal liking, and since the next version will be released before too long, I don't think it will cause much harm to let a version slide for this short amount of time.
