When you register on TechDimension.com you will be able to post in the forums, contact other users, be a part of projects that are hosted here, and even possibly become a content creator for the site, which would include blogs, books, stories, pages, polls, or job postings. You also cannot apply for a listed job position without being a member. So, you should head to the registration page and get signed up.
As a registered member, you can automatically post in the forums and view all content. You are also allowed to post your resume. In order to create other content, you must apply for the role through your account page. (See "How to apply for a role") Once you are approved for a role that goes with a content type, you will then be able to create that content.
To apply for a role, go to your account page > edit > Apply for role. These are the available roles:
- blogger
- book author
- employer
- poll
- story author
Some of these roles require further information and examples. The blogger role, for example, will require you to supply an original sample or two in the tone of being from TechDimension.com. The employer role will require that you have a job to post, in which case, the initial job posting will have to be reviewed by the admin before you are approved for the role.
Some roles will even have job postings for them, so keep an eye on those.
Most any other types of content that are not available through the apply for role section of your account page will have to be given to you by the admin once you have demonstrated that you are an active member of TechDimension.com, use the proper manner, have the knowledge, and the ability to provide applicable and useful information to the members.
Bounties are pieces of code that are requested. There can be a payment of some sort (money, prize, etc) or it can just be the gratitude of the community. Generally, they will be listed in the Bounty forum, but they can also be listed as a job posting depending on who posts the bounty and what it is. To make a submission to a bounty, either apply for it through the job posting or through the forum post.

If there is something not working properly that is not on this list or if only one thing from this list is missing, there might be something else wrong. In that case, contact Josh.
I will not bother with trying to fix something on the site for a broken browser. Internet Explorer is too far gone for me to take the time and effort to try fixing everything that is wrong. Try upgrading to Firefox.
During the design of the new theme, I had made the decision to make the link colors black, except in the menu structure. I made them italic to help differentiate from a regular heading font or simply bold. In addition, they are actually just a very dark gray. The exact color code is #202020.
