Welcome!
Here you will find a home to host project collaboration, apply to or post jobs, get hold on whatever you are working on, or find information regarding the technical world.
A Little About This Site:
This site is built on Drupal to be a community driven website. Members are encouraged to actively participate in forum topics and projects. If you have a need for an employee (paid or not) you can post a job listing. If you have a need for work, or just something to do, you can apply to one of the job listings. You can even create an online resume for the public to view. Your resume can be accessible to employers on this site, outside employers, project leaders and members. Get yourself noticed. With a combination of your online resume hosted on this site and your active participation, people will see what you have to say about yourself and how you work with others.

Useless User
I would like to bring user AndrewBoldman to everybody's attention. This individual has decided to make an attempt at defacing this website with spam in the forums. Because of this, I decided to leave the user's email address in plain view here for spam bots to pick up. So, without any further delay, here it is:
TechDimension.com Bug
I've noticed that the site has been behaving oddly from time to time. It will have all formatting stripped away every once in a while, leaving it in plain HTML rather than being rendered through PHP. An image of this happening is attached to this post (to the right of the text) in case you haven't seen it. I am looking into the problem and hopefully will find a solution. In the mean time, if anybody else notices this, please leave a comment to this post and let me know what browser and operating system you're using when it happens. This might help me find the problem.
We're Back!
TechDimension.com was down for a week or so. I would like to apologize for the inconvenience to anybody that tried to visit during that time. The problem is resolved now and should not happen again.
New TechDimension.com Theme!
As of 8:25PM Eastern Standard Time today, the new theme has been in place. Anybody visiting for about half an hour before might have noticed something changing with the menus or arrangement every time they went to a different page or refreshed. Sorry about that.
About the new theme (TechDim2):
First, there's the noticeable difference in graphics. They are slimmed down in order to reduce page load times. All of the new graphics are completely original works of my own. I started with a blank canvas "framework only" theme then started adding my own graphics and code until it became what it is now. (See? I wasn't ignoring the site while I wasn't posting anything new.) This work also involved rearranging the menus and navigation. I also did away with some of the features and blocks that there were no real use for. It was a process of trial and error throughout testing, but I hope everybody likes the final product.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that there's also a new favicon to go with the new theme as well.
If you liked the old theme better (TechDim1), I will be making a few adjustments to it then making it available. Once it's finished, I will make a post on how to use the old theme instead of the new one. However, you can expect to see more changes in future versions of my custom TechDim series of themes.
Any feedback on the new theme is welcome. Post your comments to this by clicking on the "Add new comment" link below.

More News on TechDimension.com
Today marks the reimplementation of the FAQ Page. This feature was lost somewhere along the line. It's back now, though. Sorry about the missing section for the time it was gone.
More news would be that the Printer Friendly Pages module has added a new feature that I have activated. There is now the option to email pages to a friend. So, if you find a page, article, or whatever on TechDimension.com that you want to send to someone, please feel free to use these links.
Another addition is the Service Links module, which adds the functionality of social bookmarking and the like. Right now, I have del.icio.us, DIGG, StumbleUpon, Reddit, Google, and Yahoo enabled. There's also some others, but as I'm not familiar with them (or simply don't like their service), I do not have them enabled. Just another way to spread the word about TechDimension.com. In addition to this, I have been using the StumbleUpon toolbar, and have enjoyed it's features. I recommend it to all TechDimension.com readers/members.
That's all the news I have for now, so for the time being, enjoy the new features.

I'm Not Dead
Just wanted to let everybody know that I'm not dead, but I've just been working on some projects. The Editorials and Opinions newsletter will be back as soon as the article is finished.
Also, some of the modules have been upgraded for stability, functionality, and security. The included modules are:
- Content Forms
- Flag Content
- Ignore User
- Printer Friendly Pages
- Simplenews
As always, if there are any issues that you believe to be linked to these upgrades, please let me know and it will be fixed as soon as possible.
One last note: Yes, I know the FAQ page is missing. It will be put back in place as soon as I find and fix what caused the problem in the first place.
Site Design Changes in the Works
I am in the progress of creating a new theme and layout for TechDimension.com. This is not because I don't like the current theme that I had customized, but instead, I am wanting to provide my site with the same service that I would provide any other that I work on. I am creating a new theme from a blank canvas. The current theme is a modified 4Seasons theme from Drupal.org.
Currently, I have picked out a few extremely blank canvas themes to try out and decide which I will use as a template to build the new TechDimension.com theme. This will give me a chance to design the layout from the ground up with only the colors and graphics I want to use.
This process will probably also consist of a new (smaller) logo rather than the banner at the top of every page that takes up way more space than I like. After all, a site should be about the content, not the images used in the building of the site.
If there are any suggestions or requests to be made in the new design, please contact me with your ideas.
